YOGA VACATION - Luberon - Provence
The concept of these vacations is to provide an experience of practicing or initiating Hatha and Raja Yoga in a unique location at the heart of Luberon/Provence, in an environment of serenity and harmony with nature.
THE PROGRAM is designed to help people at any age to achieve progress at all levels (including initiation) through group and individual lessons. It is conceived utilizing simple and yet effective practices to enhance the combination of body soundness and mind serenity through a number of asanas (postures) and meditation methods.
The selection and simplification of the above practices, to a point within easy reach of everyone, are the fruit of the teacher's dedicated involvement with Yoga for over 20 years. The goal is for each participant to achieve both concrete progress and complete familiarity with simple practices that can be integrated into his/her daily life.
THE SITE is a 20-hectare (50 acre) private domain located among medieval Luberon villages approximately 30km north of Aix-en- Provence. The domain's vast landscape, situated in a commanding position of gently rolling Provencal hills with numerous panoramas, is composed of vineyards and spacious open fields offering beautiful walking paths among wild aromatic plants and old trees in total privacy and calm.
The guests are accommodated at the heart of the property in an authentic restored medieval Mas (Provencal farm house) of 550 m2 living space (5 comfortable bedrooms/suites, each with a private bathroom).
